Lecce is ready to spend 4 million euros for Scottish striker Robert Ure, who plays for IK Sirius. The negotiations seem complicated, but Lecce is not giving up. Ure, born in 2004, is from Glasgow, Scotland, but also holds a Ukrainian passport. He has a strong physique, standing at 189 centimeters, and is impressing in his team, having scored 12 goals in 12 league games and 5 goals in 5 cup games, with an impressive average of one goal per match. The striker is liked by Lecce's technical director Stefano Trinchera, but the operation is complicated, as he has a contract until June 30, 2029, renewed in March 2025, and his current team is not willing to sell him unless for significant figures. Lecce has offered four million euros plus 30% of the future resale, but the response from IK Sirius's management has been a clear «no». In short, the negotiations do not seem to be taking off, but it is assumed that Lecce will return to the attack. The young player, who is part of the «Team Raiola», sees the possibility of joining the top Italian league as a quality jump. But also, at the same time, as a springboard, given that players from Salento, such as Morten Hjulmand, Patrick Dorgu, and Nikola Krtovic, have flown to Sporting Lisbona, Manchester United, and Atalanta after their experience in yellow and red. Regarding the Danish midfielder, who represented the first major plus value of the new course launched with Pantaleo Corvino in the company (strongly wanted by President Saverio Sticchi Damiani), in the 2020/2021 season, he is now in the Spanish Liga, at Atletico Madrid, semi-finalist of the last Champions League. It is worth noting that in the previous season, always in the IK Sirius ranks, Ure scored 11 goals in 30 league games (a total of 2,543' on the pitch), providing 4 assists, while in the Challenger Pro League he collected 7 «centers» and 2 assists in 22 games, plus a game played in the cup without scoring. In short, the first major transfer for the top team, so eagerly awaited by the fans, seems destined to be delayed. Recently, the name of Croatian Kristijan Jakic has been linked to Lecce, who has played in the World Cup with his national team (with which he has 17 appearances and 2 goals) and who plays for Augusta (has a contract until June 30, 2028), a team that participates in the Bundesliga. It is a midfielder or central defender who, for role and experience, could replace without doubt Ylber Ramadani, recently passed to Corum, in Turkey. However, the trail seems quite weak and, in any case, there are also the Torino and Monza, and the company of via colonnello Costadura is not used to chasing players who risk a game of chance. At the moment, therefore, it must be assumed that at most a manifestation of interest has been registered, which could be useful if, in a second moment, the market dynamics were to make the operation appetizing. But it seems difficult, also because Lecce has in mind to launch Oumar Ngom entirely. The situation is in a stalemate also for what concerns the exits. Ramadani was sold with a lightning-fast deal made possible by an agreement with Corum.
